FIRST AID COURSE 

The first Aid course, is taught by a fully qualified Instructor, it is an Emergency First Aid course which includes the AED and CPR.

A Certificate will be issued at the end of the course and it lasts for 3 years. All Coaches and Assistant Coaches must have a First Aid in date Certificate.

LEVEL 1 ASSISTANT COACH

 

This course is designed for those who wish to facilitate, train and coach boxers at the beginning of their career or during their Boxing career.

It will teach you the learning process, how to conduct lessons and assist the Club Coach.

The assessment is mainly skills based, where you will demonstrate, explain and execute straight arm punches and defences to the head and body and Padwork. There will also be a Theory test on the Rules of Boxing. It is a four-day course that includes the First Aid.

LEVEL 2 FULL COACH

This course goes into more detail of the teaching process, including conditioning for running-skipping, weight Training and sparring.

It goes into more detail of running a boxing gym including Health and Safety, and programming training schedules for groups or individuals.

You will be revised on all skills learnt on the level 1 course and then demonstrate and teach all Bent Arm punches and defences to the head and body.

There will also be a theory paper at the end of the assessment.
